Description

This is a view of the accounts of John Conyers, spread over several years, with a statement of arrears, and from 1582 onwards several of the accounts are subsidiary to the sheriff's account. The last item, again relating to Conyers, consists of undated sheriffs' accounts involving the surrender at the episcopal Exchequer (or, as in 1336, at the Chancery under the same roof) of the proceeds of manors, lands, goods and chattels in their official custody. From 1505 to 1509, profits from the Marshalsea Court are included.

The subsidiary accounts include writs and returns, extents, inquisitions and petitions as well as receipts from Crown annuitants.
