Michael THOMAS and Jessie ANTOINE: charged with causing grievous bodily harm to Detective Sergeants David PARKINSON, John GRIEVE and Peter BARKER following a drugs raid at 6 Nigel Road, London SE15, on 24 September 1973. The defendants were acquitted at the Central Criminal Court and instituted High Court proceedings against the Commissioner, which was settled out of court.
