Description

Medical journal of HMS Renard from 30 October 1802 to 30 October 1803 by Robert Scott, during which time the said ship was employed in Ireland, the West Indies, and cruising in the English Channel.

Folio 2: Rattipp Swan, aged 30, corporal marines; sick or hurt, violent stitch in the left breast with frequent cough; put on sick list, 10 November 1802 at Plymouth. Discharged 14 November 1802 to Plymouth Hospital.

Folios 2-3: William Mason, aged 26, seaman; sick or hurt, lues venerea; put on sick list, 20 November 1802 at Falmouth. Discharged 7 February 1803 to duty.
