Medical journal of HMS Albion for 26 July 1806 to 25 July 1807 by Andrew Elphinstone, Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in the East Indies.

Folio 1: Blank.
Folios 2-3: James Bryant, aged 34, seaman; disease or hurt, scurvy. Put on sick list, 15 June 1806 off the Isle of France. Died 10 August 1806.
Folios 4-7: Richard Carradge, aged 47, seaman; disease or hurt, wound to the groin caused by a bulls goring on board ship. Put on sick list, 17 August 1806 at St Mary's Madagascar. Discharged 12 October 1806.
Folios 7-9: Surgeon's general remarks in regards to an epidemic (bilious) on board ship between the end of October 1806 to end of December 1806.
Folios 9-10: Surgeon's general remarks in regards to an outbreak of scurvy on board ship in January 1807 which at one point reached 154 cases, and 28 cases of dysentery.
Folios 11-15: The following men as part of their treatment against scurvy were treated with sulphuric acid; Charles White, aged 34, seaman (folio 11); George Crawford, aged 24, seaman (folio 12); M.
