Bond in the form of a letter patent of Henry Metcalfe of Swynneythet (Swinethwaite) in Wensleydale, Yorkshire, gentleman, bound in £40 to John Robinson of Norton, Yorkshire, gentleman. The condition is that if Metcalfe pays Robinson £20 in one payment on 20 July in 1624 at Robinson's house at Norton then the bond will be void. Signatures or marks of six witnesses
