Inventory of the goods of Sir William Sherington 'at his apprehension and restitution', in his house at Tower Hill, London, made by Sir Edmund Peckham, knight, and Richard Fullmerston, esquire, on the commandment of the Lord Protector [Edward Seymour, duke of Somerset]. Sub-headings include: the hall; the parlour; the buttery; the cellar; the spicery; the kitchen, larder, pastry and bottling-house; various chambers; the stable; the housekeeper's chamber; jewels of gold; money in various chests; plate-gilt, parcel gilt and white. Many entries have marginal notes to indicate that most goods were removed.
