Folios 3-5: John Kerrick, aged 34, sailmaker; case number 2; disease or hurt, phthisis. Put on sick list, 5 February 1849. Died 7 March 1849 at Ourel.
Folios 5-6: W.H. Moore, aged 24, masters assistant; case number 3; disease or hurt, phlogosis being the effects of cold. Put on sick list, 17 February 1849 at Ourel. Discharged 15 April 1849 to duty.
Folios 6-9: John Head, aged 27, private, marine; case number 4; disease or hurt, pneumonia. Put on sick list, 7 March 1849 at Ourel. Discharged 17 July 1849 invalided.

Folios 10-12: Surgeons general remarks including a table on (folio 14) showing the monthly range and mean of the thermometer for January to December 1851.
