Medical and surgical journal of HMS Alban for 16 December 1832 to 26 May 1833 by John Dunn, Assistant Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed on particular service.

Folio 1: Title page of the sick book.
Folio 3: John Pitcher, aged 28, stoker; case number 3; disease or hurt, asphyxia. Put on sick list, 12 January 1833 at sea. Discharged 17 January 1833 to duty.
Folio 4: William Morgan, aged 30, seaman; case number 10; disease or hurt, obstipatio. Put on sick list, [?] however received from HMS Barham for a passage to England. Discharged 22 February 1833 to duty.
Folios 4-6: Arthur Doyle, aged 22, midshipman; case number 12; disease or hurt, hepatitis. Put on sick list, 17 February 1833 at sea. Discharged 25 March 1833 to Plymouth hospital.
Folios 6-7: John Brown, aged 39, seaman; case number 17; disease or hurt, hydrothorax. Put on sick list, 12 March 1833 at sea. Died 18 March 1833 at Falmouth.
Folios 7-9: William Haigh, aged 22, seaman; case number 18; disease or hurt, cholera. Put on sick list, 16 March 1833 at sea. Discharged 24 March 1833 to Plymouth hospital.
