Description (What the record is about)
- This dataset contains the 1974 primary births data containing data relating to births which took place in England and Wales in that year. However a number of the births (23357 live births and 93 still births) in this dataset have the registration year recorded as 1975 (ie DORY2 = 75); these records cover the 1974 births which were registered in early 1975. In addition the dataset includes a number of 1973 births which were registered in 1974 (2048 live, 13 still). The dataset consists of three tables. The third table, covered by the Population Statistics Act, is closed indefinitely.
