Medical journal of HMS Adventure for 18 April 1800 to 6 March 1801 by Jonathan Meredith, Surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in the Channel and the Mediterranean. Crew of 155 men. (Described at item level).
The journal is in the form of case by case entries with descriptions of symptoms and detailed description of treatments. There are additional comments in the remarks column and notes of when the ship was fumigated.
