Medical journal of HMS Adventure for 12 June 1799 to 20 April 1800 by D Parry, surgeon, during which time the said ship was employed in the River, Texell, Channel and off the coast of France. The journal is in the form of case by case entries, recording daily treatment and general comments in the remarks column. These include observations on symptoms and treatments of diseases and hurts, and sometimes comments on the general health of the patient and how he came to be sick. (Described at item level).
