Description (What the record is about)
- This dataset holds data on diabetes for the 1999 Compendium of Clinical and Health Indicators (CCHI). It includes data on hospital episodes for diabetic ketoacidosis and coma in 1997-1998, and operation rates for lower limb amputations in diabetic patients in 1997-1998, collected from the Department of Health Hospital Episode Statistics data. The dataset also includes ONS data on mortality from diabetes in 1988-1998, including numbers of deaths, death rates per 100,000 of population and age standardised death rates. The dataset consists of 8 tables which contain various CCHI indicators.
