Arrangement
Arrangement

The records are catalogued in two parts: in the first they are listed under by subject; in the second part the records are listed mainly, but not entirely, in order of their former registered number. Where a record had more than one former reference, the order is determined by the last. The effect is that in both parts of the catalogue the correspondence is arranged in approximately final date order.
