Description

This series consists of Ordnance Survey files of plans, notes and other papers relating to the spelling of parish names and to parish boundaries, with the authority for any changes. Some files also contain the names of the principal landowners, agents, clergymen and churchwardens, and information on the status and dedication of churches, and the state of titles, manors, rates and taxes in the parish. The files relate to parishes in England and Wales (and one or two in Scotland).
