NIGERIA 21. Printed volume entitled 'Picturesque Views on the River Niger, sketched during Lander's last visit in 1832-33' by Commander William Allen RN, published in 1840. The volume contains the following lithographed map and sheets:

Four 'Views on the Nun Branch of the River Niger'.
'Procession to Ibu.' Native canoes on the river.
'Cliffs at Attah'; 'Mountains and Market Canoes near Bokweh'.

'The Confluence of the Rivers Niger and Chadda.' A panoramic fold-out view.
