804 photographs showing portraits of people from different ethnic and tribal groups in Nigerian together with images of their habitation and communal activities.

The original order of these photographs has not been preserved.
The photographs have been mounted on to a series of cards which have been left loose in five bundles. Each bundle now forms a separate part of the record.
Parts 1 and 2 contain images that were not maintained within album covers. Parts 3, 4 and 5 contain sheets that were placed within album covers. These have survived and been enclosed with the sheets.
