Description

This series contains registered files originally created in the Bonds and Stock Office of the Post Office Savings Department and passed to the Department for National Savings following its establishment in 1969. The files in this series deal with the administration of the Premium Bond Scheme and the Post Office Register of Government Stock, and local matters concerning the administration of the offices of St Anne's and Lytham site. A number of files deal with ERNIE (Electronic Random Number Indicator Equipment).
