Extract from MT 6/296/8. Signalling diagram extracted from Board of Trade Inspection Report, showing the implementation of 'Hodgson's Patent' on the Union of the Lock and Block systems between Heathfield and Hailsham on the Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne branch line of the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. Manuscript on tracing paper produced by Saxby and Farmer, Railway Signal Works, London, signed by C Wilkin, 12 August 1881.
