Draft indenture of sale between (1) Henry Thynne, of Greenwaye [Greenway in Churston Ferrers], Devon, and John Bridges, the younger, of London, merchant, son of John Bridges, the elder, of Kingswood, Wiltshire [recte Gloucestershire], and (2) Thomas Hanbury, of Mapledurham [in Buriton], Hampshire, esq: of property in Gloucestershire.
Sale, for £1,360, of a messuage called the Wakemyll Barnes, near Kingeswood [Kingswood], wherein Benedict Webbe now dwells, a fulling mill, a gig mill and a grist mill belonging thereto, called the Wakemylls, 2 closes of pasture called the Further and Nearer Deneweek, 30 acres of arable land and pasture, a tenement, etc, called the house at Deneweek Elme, 2 parcels of ground adjoining the barn called Walkes Hill, otherwise Rackclose, and 6 acres of overland called the Old Orchard, etc. Also 2 meadows called the Little and Great Bartymeades, and 2 meadows called the Wynards, in Kingswood and Wotton Underedge [Wotton under Edge], Gloucestershire.
