Indenture of agreeement between (1) Thomas Hanbury, of Mapledurham [in Buriton], Hampshire, esq, and (2) Henry Thynne, of Greenwaye [Greenway in Churston Ferrers], Devon, esq: concerning a bond.
By bond acknowledged before Sir John Popham, kt, lord chief justice of England, (2) is bound to (1) in £700. If Henry Thynne will perform the covenants in the indentures 9 Feb 41 Eliz [1599], between (3) Henry Thynne and John Bridges, the younger, and (1), confirming the estate of Benedict Webbe in lands in the indenture for 28 years, then bond void.
