Indenture of assignment of lease between (1) John Packington, esq, and John Walker, citizen and scrivener of London, and (2) Hugh Sexey, of London, gent: of property in Somerset.
By letters patent under the great seal 2 Apr 25 Eliz [1583], [inter alia], a messuage with garden and orchard belonging thereto in Chalkewell, in Glaston [Glastonbury], Somerset, 2 closes of meadow (8 acres), 8 acres in Bridham in Glastonbury, and 2 pieces of arable land in the common fields of Brindham, (late of the office of sexton of the monastery of Glaston [Glastonbury Abbey], and parcel of the possessions of Edward [Seymour], late duke of Somerset), leased to John Packington.
By letters patent 28 Feb 13 Eliz [1571], leased to Hugh Sexey, for 21 years, at 15s a year, and to John Pakington from Michaelmas 1591, for 60 years, at 15s a year.
By indenture 3 Apr 25 Eliz [1583] assigned to John Walker.
