Transcript of letters patent granting office to John Morley, gent.
By letters patent under the great seal of the Court of Augmentations 17 Dec 3 Edw VI [1549], grant to Thomas Dutton, still alive, of the office of particular surveyor of lands in the court of the Exchequer in Gloucestershire and the cities of Gloucester and Bristol.
Dutton now grants it to John Morley, gent, for life, in reversion, at £16 13s 4d a year.
