By letters patent under the great seal 7 Jul 11 Eliz [1569], lease [inter alia] of 2 closes of meadow and pasture in Backwere [Backwear in Glastonbury], Somerset, another close of meadow and pasture in Backwear (3 acres), parcel of the manor of Glaston [Glastonbury], parcel of the possessions of Charles, late duke of Somerset, for 31 years, at 21s a year.
