Herta ZNOSKO-BOROVSKY was German born, French by one of her many liaisons, and an adventurous and peripatetic Communist, suspected Soviet agent and Director (or Secretary) of the Unitarian Service Committee (USC) in Paris. Cyrille ZNOSKO-BOROVSKY, a professional translator/interpreter, was on record largely because of his marriage to Herta and his one time close association with the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU)
