Diedrich JACOBS: German, British. Captured German documents at the end of the war revealed that JACOBS, a naturalized Briton of German origin had been a German spy in Britain during the 1930's and the early 1940's. He had been a German naval officer in the 1914-1918 War and was recruited as part of the Etappen intelligence network. He died before he could be interrogated after the war
