M B PORTER: victim of manslaughter by I A DORAN at The 'Rose 'n' Dale' Club, 9 Newport Place, Soho, London on 26 September 1971. Doran decamped to Scotland, where he was arrested and sentenced to 25 years' imprisonment for the later offences of assault, robbery, theft of cars and firearms. After sentencing Doran was brought to London and convicted of the manslaughter of Porter. CR170/71/865 attached.
