Two maps showing railway line proposed by Exeter and Exmouth Railway Company, on lands by the River Exe, through the parishes of Topsham, Woodbury, Lympstone and Withycombe Raleigh. (1) Map to show lands the Exeter and Exmouth Railway Company wished to acquire; showing foreshores, parish boundaries, proposed bridges, culverts, viaducts and level crossings, numbered plots. Signed by J E Errington, 13 Duke Street, Westminster. Originally to accompany letter of 28 May 1859 from the Company. (2) Map to show proposed line of railway, also showing lime kilns and manure works and other buildings. Compass indicator. Originally to accompany Robert Dymond's report on the Company's proposal dated 6 July 1859. Scales: (1) 1 inch to 4 chains; (2) 1 inch to 6 chains. Dimensions of sheets: (1) 55 cm x 135 cm; (2) 41.5 cm x 100 cm.
