Eugene Jean Constant Van ACKERE: Belgian. Van ACKERE arrived in the UK in a small fishing boat across the Channel in 1942, with his fianc?e and two Breton fishermen. His story led to his being suspected as a German agent and he was extensively interrogated at Camp 020 before being released when other information confirmed what he said. This file was heavily weeded in 1960
