Description

Thomas Evans NICHOLAS: British. NICHOLAS was a Welsh Congregationalist minister and pacifist during the First World War. He joined the Communist Party in 1920, remaining a communist all his life. In 1940 he was placed briefly in detention as an anti-war activist. In the 1950s he was a member of the World Peace Council
