Annual reports were produced by the Chief Executive's Office of the Vehicle Inspectorate Agency for the years 1988 to 1993. From 1993 to1995 they were produced by the Central Services Division, and from 1995 by the Corporate Affairs Division of the agency.
The annual report focuses upon achievement measured against key targets and performance measures and includes the Inspectorate's formal accounts. The effectiveness report relates to achivements in the areas of road safety and environmental protection work.
