Some of the records relate to the introduction of the Transport Act 1968 and the creation of the National Freight Corporation under this statute. Some files from NTA (otherwise in MT 87), NTB (otherwise in MT 88) and TPG files (otherwise in MT 160) were re-registered into the FC series. These files relate to nationalised transport and transport policy.
