Summary of operations of Bomber Command for the fortnight ending 1200 hours, Sunday 3 January 1943. 4 aerial photographs annotated to show effects of bombing raids.
1) 'Krefeld. Recent photographic cover showing results of the raid 2/3rd October, 1942. Damage by HE and fire to: a) W Taschmer AG Engineering Works. Demolished. b) Vereinigte Seidenweberfien AG United Silk Weaving Co Centre section destroyed.' Size 20cm x 7cm.
2) 'Krefeld. Recent photographic cover showing results of the raid 2/3rd October, 1942. Two other factories producing machinery, J Kleinwefer& Söhne (a) and Dornbusch AG (b), also damaged by HE and fire.' Size 18cm x 15cm.
3) 'Den Helder. Daylight attack on 23/12/42. Bombs can be seen bursting on the Torpedo Workshop and Naval Barracks in the Willemsoord Dockyard.' Size 14cm x 18cm.
4) Photograph with legend 'CIU Damage Plot. Turin No 2B. Results of Raids until 9/10/12/42.' annotated to show position of main Fiat factory. Size 15cm x 19cm.
