M T CARR and J A CARR: charged with the manslaughter of their five week old daughter L I CARR, who died at 66 Granville Road, Kilburn, London on 31 December 1970. Despite medical opinion that this was a 'battered baby' case, no evidence was offered by the Crown and the defendants were acquitted.
