S J DEVENNY: alleged victim of murder by officers of the Royal Ulster Constabulary following an assault at his home, 69 William Street, Londonderry on 19 April 1969. Death of Devenny in hospital on 18 July 1969. Subsequent conflict of medical evidence as to cause of death. No RUC officers were prosecuted due to lack of evidence. Appendices A-N.
