Description

Extracts of conversations between pairs of POWs during Interrogation (reports on German and Italian prisoners of war): naval and air personnel; AFHQ/X 105-123.

These are extracts of overheard conversations of German prisoners of war held by American forces. They do not give names, but ocassionally may include names of officers. Some names can be identified from rank, regiment and place and date of capture. The conversations vary from use of gas, the outcome of the war, Italy and life in Germany.
