GC&CS Miscellaneous Papers: French Liaison November 1938 - August 1945. Establishment of Sigint liaison with the French in the run-up to war November 1938. Clandestine liaison with 'Bertie' (Bertrand) located at 'Cadix' in Vichy France April 1941 - November 1942. Liaison with the French in North Africa January 1943 - June 1944. Cooperation with the French in Paris and reappearance of Bertrand October 1944 - August 1945
