Description

Rudolph Albert HAMBURGER: East German. A Soviet intelligence agent since before 1930, HAMBURGER carried out a mission in Shanghai with his then wife Ursula (nee KUCZYNSKI, later BEURTON) and in 1943, was detected as an active RIS agent in Tehran. Handed to the Soviet authorities, he was imprisoned in a Soviet labour camp
