Jean Charles PELLETIER, alias LAROCHE: French. PELLETIER escaped from France in 1940 and later the same year joined the Free French in the UK. He was parachuted into France in 1941 but captured by the Germans, agreeing to work for them. He returned to theUK and was interrogated. Sentenced by a French court to forced labour for life, later commuted to 8 years, he was deported to France in April 1945
