Juan Domingo Balbino GOMEZ DE LECUBE: Spanish. LECUBE was reported to have been an important Abwehr agent in Barcelona in the early 1940s. He was arrested in Trinidad in 1942 and deported to England. Prolonged and intensive interrogation in Camp 020 failed to break him; he was described as 'the most difficult prisoner whom we have had to handle in the course of the war'. LECUBE was finally deported to Spain in 1945
