Paul Leon PIERRAT: French. PIERRAT, a member of the French Resistance Movement, was suspected of working for the Germans in the early part of the Second World War. He came to Britain in 1943 and was interrogated at length without entirely resolving the doubts that had been felt about him. In 1945 he was deported to France for the further investigation of his case by the French authorities, the outcome of which is unrecorded
