Brief notes on the Security Service and its work prepared for Permanent Under-Secretaries, Service Intelligence Depts, CIGS, Courses etc. As well as papers aimed at setting the Security Service's work in its true perspective for the benefit of outsiders, there is a 24-page folder entitled 'The Security Service, a brief outline', intended for both internal and external use. There is also some interesting material giving examples of breaches of security during the war and how they were dealt with
