Anarchist activities in the UK - Report on the political background of the Sydney Street Siege. This file contains reports about a number of politically motivated extremists who took part in the Houndsditch incident which led inturn to the Sydney Street siege. One of the reports (dated 1941, author not identified) argues that the Houndsditch gang were Lettish communists ideologically committed to a policy of 'expropriation' ie robbery with violence. It also discusses the possible true identity of Peter the Painter
