Description

London Poles, Stanmore, Middlesex, and the Russian Section at GC&CS

16/8/1940 Letter from Col. Banakh of the Polish General Staff giving details of Soviet Army wireless communications and seeking financial and material support for the establishment of a Polish interception station. 4/12/1940 Accommodation for Poles in Stanmore, Middlesex. The remainder of the file reflects cooperation on code-breaking between GC&CS and Poles at Stanmore.
