Samuel Henry COHEN, alias Lee McKEIG; and Winifred Isabella COHEN: British. A communist from 1930, in 1936 Samuel Cohen was instructor in a radio school in Moscow which trained Comintern underground radio technicians. During the war, back in the UK, Cohen passed details of secret war work on which he was engaged to British Communist Party Headquarters in the knowledge that it would be likely to reach the Soviet Union. His wife, Winifred Cohen, was also a member of the Communist Party
