Description

This series contains indexed volumes of circulars, and folders containing incomplete sets of circulars issued by the Chief Inspector of the Children's Department to establishments entrusted with the care of children. The circulars deal with a wide range of subjects including air raid precautions, after-care, clothing, food, education, hygiene and other aspects of the children's welfare, as well as the employment, training and salaries of staff.
