Description

This series contains Ministry of Health files relating to the setting up and administration of Regional Hospital Boards until 1962. The files cover such aspects as the constitution of the noards and the areas they covered, the appointment of board members, chairmen, and others, representation on the boards of various professions and institutions, and improvements in and alterations to policy and procedure, due to relevant legislation subsequent to 1946. Also included is material relating to such matters as building and hospital supplies, as well as circulars, statistics and minutes of meetings of chairmen and secretaries of boards.
