Description

This series contains correspondence, minutes and evidence of various committees set up by the Ministry of Health and interdepartmental committees upon which the department was represented. The committees dealt with ministerial powers (The Donoughmore Committee), medical questions, medical schools, (The Goodenough Committee), re-habilitation of persons injured in accidents, abortion, cancer, the recruitment, training and qualifications of medical staff, drug addiction and nursing. Also includes minutes and papers of the Medical Advisory Committee and its sub-committees.
