Description

This series contains correspondence and papers of the Local Government Board's Sanitary Department relating to a scheme for uniting certain sanitary districts in the Thames Valley under a single authority for the purpose of main sewerage. The papers include memorials and petitions from supporters and opponents of the scheme, inquiries and reports, bills, and orders made by Local Government Boards with subsidiary correspondence and papers, including some legal papers.
