Description

This series contains circulars, statutory instruments, orders and other publications issued by the Poor Law Commission and Board, the Local Government Board and the Ministry of Health. The recipients include Assistant Poor Law Commissioners, district auditors, union and parish officers and other local officials. Includes registers of circulars, 1848 to 1951, and indexes, 1848 to 1946. Volumes 18-84 contain subject indexes to their contents.
