Description

Folio 470: telegram from Commander-in-Chief, Cape asking whether remarks by Commander Ingles would be used against him in an enquiry 9th July 1915.

Folios 471 -472: Admiralty minutes 14th July 1915 to 17th July 1915, the idea of holding a formal Court of Enquiry or Court Martial has been abandoned.

Folios 473-479: report by Commander Ingles on reasons for anchoring at Zanzibar at night 18th August 1915.

Folios 480-481: Admiralty minutes and letter to Commander-in-Chief. No further enquiry will be held 15th October 1915.

Folios 483-502: East Africa Operations. Rough Diary 27-7-14 to 1-10-14. Compiled in December 1916 for use in Historical Section.
